    “Reid Martin has been selected as the varsity football Player of the Week for his performance this past Friday night against Whitefield Academy. Reid was 16 of 31 passing for 272 yards and a TD. He also had 6 rushing attempts for 27 yards and a TD. The biggest play of the night was Reid’s 15 yard TD run on the first play of overtime. Reid is an outstanding worker and an excellent leader. She learned two new defensive systems and three different positions, but took it in stride and accomplished all the goals set out before her. She was an outstanding libero for half the season and defensive specialist for the other half. She even ended the season with two kills to show she a utility player and an asset to the King's Ridge Volleyball Program.” - Coach Hampel
