The King's Ridge Middle School Golf team kicked off their season with a win over Pinecrest Academy 137 to 190 at Polo Golf and Country Club.
Jack Schoenberger, Evan Sabol, Harrison Livingston, and Lex Moreland represented King's Ridge in the victory. Jack Schoenberger and Evan Sabol got the incredible opportunity to play at their home course, and capitalized turning in solid scores of 48 and 49 respectively. Schoenberger and Sabol battled the entire day going back and forth on the score card, and it came down to the final hole. On the 18th, Schoenberger nailed home a par putt to give him a 48, and low medalist for the day. Harrison Livingston and Lex "Lefty" Moreland had the sunset catch them with three holes left to play, but were able to battle through several tough holes to tie each other with 40's. It was great to see all of the players' parents who came out to support the team. King's Ridge looks forward to two weeks of practice before their next match against Mount Vernon Presbyterian School at Steel Canyon Golf Course on March 21st.
