The King's Ridge Middle School Girls' and Boys' golf teams competed at the Metro 10 Championship on Monday at Steel Canyon Golf Course in Sandy Springs. Under extremely rainy conditions the King's Ridge Girls battled all morning, and won the championship by 1 stroke over North Cobb Christian School! Mary Christopher led all King's Ridge girls shooting a 43, and was the 3rd lowest girls score. Caitlin Laranjo, Gracie Rittmueller, and Kelly Cesped all shot consistent scores (50,50, 52) to capture the first ever Metro 10 Championship!
On the Boys' side Evan Sabol, Harrison Livingston, Lex Moreland, and Jack Schoenberger fought all morning navigating Steel Canyon's tough course. They represented King's Ridge well throughout the entire round, and all finished within two strokes of each other. King's Ridge will return a strong group of their middle school boys golfers next year, and look to make a run at the Metro 10 Championship!
