TIGERS BRING HOME A WIN AGAINST COGBURN RIVAL ST. FRANCIS

TIGERS BRING HOME A WIN AGAINST COGBURN RIVAL ST. FRANCIS

Results for the St Francis meet are in and for the second year in a row the Tigers walk away with a win for both girls and boys.

Our swimmers showed their versatility by leading several events. The coaches are proud of both experienced and new swimmers, as they all did what was best for the team, even if that meant swimming events out of their comfort zone.

This was a team effort as each individual swim counted towards our success!. All five relays were lead by the Tigers and we couldn't be any prouder. Some individual highlights of the day...

On the boys field, we had two individual wins with Chipper Levy leading the 100 breast and Jason Nguyen the 100 fly.

We also had multiple second places. Coby Harris led in both of his events and took 2nd on the 200 free and 100 breast. Ben Kaminski also took the silver on his two events (50 and 100 free), and Mukund Aravapalli took 2nd on the 500.

The female field had also multiple wins with Kayla Winters and Cherie Hewlett taking the lead on both of their events (200IM and 100breast and 50 free and 100fly respectively).

Our freshman, Rachel Smith did an outstanding job swimming the 500 free for the first time and walked away with a win. Shortly after, Hannah Miracle won 100 backstroke.

There were also several second places on our female field. Emma Smith proved to be a tough competitor by swimming, and placing second in two of the toughest events (100 Fly and 500 free) and Katherine Brown sealed the session with a second place on the 100 backstroke.
